Nearly 100 tons of humanitarian cargo were delivered to the occupied part of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts

Today, on April 21st, 2021, seven trucks with humanitarian cargo have been delivered to the Russian-occupied part of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine with a total weight of 91 tons.

The humanitarian cargo was transferred from all member states of the Geneva Conventions that contribute to the global budget of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"We would like to thank for the cooperation between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine. In accordance with Article 1 of the Order of the Ministry No. 51 dated from July 17th, 2020, the ICRC informs on intentions to transfer humanitarian cargo to the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblast NGCA," reads the letter from ICRC to the Ministry for Reintegration of TOT.

Therefore, 7 trucks with humanitarian cargo, inter alia food packages and medical equipment, were transported through EECP Novotroitske.
